Behind the Legend

This photo was taken at my house warming party back in the fall of 2010. That’s me back there, in the blue. The other stuff? It’s not important.

I own that house with my dog, Sturm. I wanted it fully in my name but my credit wasn’t quite where it should be for someone taking that next big step in life. Thankfully he had already paid off the mortgage on his dog house and was looking to move up in the real estate market. I approached him with an offer and before I knew it we were sitting in my lawyers office signing all kinds of forms.

Once the paperwork finally reached an end he threw me this killer house-warming party. I mostly hung out against the wall, but he had a really good time.

I’ll never forget when the stripper – I’m sorry – I’ll never forget when the exotic dancer jumped out of the giant eclair. She took one look at me and ran out the door. Turns out my son’s pre-school teacher I went to dinner with the night before (my first date since his mother left because she didn’t want a “poop machine”) has a night job.

It was an unfortunate end to our short relationship, but I took it as a sign of what I was meant to do. I left my career as butcher and butcher shoppe owner to start my own philanthropy based non-profit marketing firm for big businesses. We take the would-be profits from our marketing contracts and donate them to a charity of our choice. It’s a one-of-a kind operation and we’ve already helped raise more than a million dollars for a wide variety of causes.

This unique business venture also allows me the opportunity to do what I love most: spend time with my son, with Sturm, and to maintain a blog consisting of all the crazy and bizarre ideas I can muster.
